Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

You will be welcomed by our representatives on arrival at Delhi, the capital city of India on the first day of your Golden Triangle Tour. We will see some major landmarks of Delhi during the day like:

Qutab Minar : This 72 m high minaret is of its own kind in the world and a prominent landmark of Delhi. It is a good example of Islamic architecture in India.

India Gate : It is a huge arch which was built in the memory of 90,000 Indian soldiers who died during world word I. It is located in the heart of New Delhi

Red Fort : It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Prime Minister of India addresses the nation from its ramparts on Independence Day every year.

Akshardham Temple : The magnificent temple is situated on the banks of river Yamuna in Delhi and is visited by numerous devotees every day.

Other attractions of Delhi are: Humayun's Tomb, President House, Parliament House, Lotus Temple, Jama Masjid etc.

Day 02: Delhi-Agra

We will depart for Agra on the second day of our Golden Triangle tour and visit the following destinations of the city:

Taj Mahal : The world famous Taj Mahal is a mausoleum which was constructed between the years 1632 to 1653 by Mogul Emperor Shah Jahan. This jewel of Mogul architecture in India is a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site and stands graciously at the banks of river Yamuna in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh. Its white marble dome and 4 minarets are the most conspicuous structures that attract the attention of the tourists. The awe inspiring Taj Mahal was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Millions of tourists visit Taj Mahal from around the world every year.

Agra Fort : It is also knows as Red Fort of Agra and is one of the several royal buildings constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in his life time. It is situated just 2.5 km off Taj Mahal and is a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site. It is spread over 94 acres, Delhi Gate and Lahore Gate are the main entrances to Agra Fort.

Day 03: Agra-Jaipuir

We will depart for Jaipur on the third day or our Golden Triangle Tour. En-route, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri : The city of Fatehpur Sikri was founded by Emperor Akbar between the years 1571 to 1585 to honor the revered saint Salim Chishti with whose blessings his son Jahangir is supposed to have born. The city has an imperial building built by Akbar which is 3 km long and 1 km wide, surrounded by 11 km long wall. Fatehpur Sikri Palace is a fusion of Hindu, Mogul and Jain architectural styles.

Buland Darwaza : It is a 54 m high massive gateway which was constructed to commemorate Akbar's victory over Gujarat in 1576-1577. Its central portico has 3 arched entrances.

Other attractions of Fatehpur Sikri are Jama Masjid, Tomb of Sultan Chishti, Ibadat Khana, Panch Mahal and Birbal's House.

Day 04: Jaipur

We will visit Golden Triangle Tour the following attractions of Jaipur during the day:

Hawa Mahal : Literally meaning the Palace of Winds, it was constructed by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It has 953 small windows or Jharokhas from where royal ladies used to view street processions without being seen by any strangers.

Jantar Mantar : It was constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh II between the years 1727 to 1734. It is a World Heritage Site and has outsized astronomical instruments to measure the movements of heavenly bodies.

City Palace : The beautiful palace was constructed by Sawai Jai Singh II between the years 1729 to 1732. It is known for its beautiful architecture.

Nahargarh Fort, Jairgarh Fort, Jal Mahal, Mooti Doongri and Kanak Brindavan are other major attractions of Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur-Delhi

We will first visit Amber Fort during the day and then depart for Delhi. Elephant safari is the best way to explore this fortifying fort. Once you reach the top, you can have a panoramic view of the surroundings. We will be back to Delhi by evening from where you can depart for your home from Rajasthan Tour.
