Royal Rajasthan Tours

Destinations Covered : Delhi - Neemrana - Jaipur - Samode - Karauli - Ranthambore - Kota - Bundi - Bijaipur - Udaipur - Deogarh - Jodhpur – Delhi

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

You will be welcomed by the representatives of Way to Rajasthan on the first day of your Royal Rajasthan Tours and lodged into your hotel. We will see the following attractions of Delhi during the day:

Red Fort : The majestic Red Fort is situated in Old Delhi area, opposite Chandni Chowk. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in red sand stone.

Qutab Minar : The 72 m high minaret is a prime attraction and landmark of Delhi.

Lotus Temple : The white marbled temple is built in lotus shape and is also known as the Bahai House of Worship.

India Gate : The huge arch is a war memorial which was designed by the British architect Edwin Lutyens.

Other attractions of Delhi are: Akshardham Temple, Humayun's Tomb, President House, Dilli Haat and Garden of Five Senses.

Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi-Neemrana

Neemrana is a small village in Alwar district of Royal Rajasthan Tours. We shall see the following attractions of Neemrana:

Vinay Vilas Mahal : The 18th century palace was the residence of erstwhile rulers of Alwar. It has several murals, miniature paintings and represents a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mogul architectural styles.

Bala Quila : The medieval fort towers over the city and is situated close to the city palace. It is 5 km long and 2 km wide.

Sariska National Park : It is situated 40 km off Alwar and is home to Royal Bengal Tiger and other wildlife species of the region.

Siliserh Lake : The beautiful lake is situated 13 km off Alwar and is a popular picnic spot.

Day 03: Neemrana –Jaipur

We will drive to the Pink City Jaipur after breakfast and visit its following attractions:

Hawa Mahal : The beautiful honeycomb shaped Palace of Winds is one of the prime attractions of Jaipur. It has 953 small windows or Jharokhas with intricate work that were meant for the use of royal ladies to view the outside world without themselves being seen by anybody.

Jantar Mantar : The huge observatory was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh II to monitor the movements of celestial bodies.

City Palace : A part of this beautiful palace is now converted into a museum. Jagdish Temple lies in its precincts which attracts numerous devotees.

Your overnight stay will be a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 04: Jaipur

We will continue our sightseeing of Jaipur attractions today also and view its following destinations:

Dolls Museum : It is situated on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg and has rich collection of dolls from all over the world.

Jaigarh Fort : The fort overlooks Amer city and boasts of the world's largest cannon, Jai Ban which was built during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh.

Nahargarh Fort : It is situated on a 600 ft high hilltop and was built in 1734. Madhvendra Bhawan and Hawa Mandir are its prime attractions.

Other attractions of Jaipur are: Laxmi Narayan Temple, Sisodia Rani Garden, Kanak Vrindavan, Amer and Vidhyasagar Garden.

Day 05: Jaipur-Samode

We will leave for Samode on the fifth day of our Royal Rajasthan tours and view its following attractions:

Samode Bagh : The beautiful garden has rippling fountains and it was built by Rawal Sheo Singh.

Samode Palace : The beautiful palace has open courtyards and there are ornate floral motifs in it.

Sultan Mahal : The palace has marble pillared verandah decorated with famed Jaipuri blue tiles.

Day 06: Samode-Karauli

Karauli is a small town of Rajasthan which is famous for its colorful bazaars. Here you can shop for curios, handicrafts, colorful bangles, jewelry and fashionable costumes. You can also taste traditional delicacies of Rajasthan in the markets of Karauli. We shall see the following attractions of Karauli during the day:

Bhanwar Vilas Palace : The beautiful palace was built in 1930 by Mahraja Ganesh Pal Deo Bahadur and was used by him as his royal residence.

Timangarh Fort : The fort was built in 1100 AD and only ruins are left now.

Kaila Devi Temple : It is one of the nine Shakti Peeths of Goddess Durga and is located 23 km off Karauli.

Day 07: Karauli-Ranthambhore

We will depart for Ranthambore after having our hearty breakfast and see its following attractions:

Ranthambore National Park : It is a Tiger Reserve and is home to several exotic wildlife species.

Ranthambore Fort : The fort was built in 944 and provides a panoramic view of the Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary.

Jogi Mahal : It was built by royal families of Jaipur and served as their hunting abode.

Your overnight stay will be at a tourist lodge in Ranthambore.

Day 08: Ranthambore

We will continue sightseeing of Ranthambore and visit its following attractions:

Padam Talab : The beautiful lake has lovely lotuses and lilies floating in it.

Kachida Valley : It is situated in the vicinity of Ranthambore National Park and is rich in desert flora and fauna.

Surwal Lake : Situated 25 km off Ranthambore, the beautiful lake is a popular hangout destination for tourists.

Day 09: Ranthambore-Kota-Bundi

Kota : We shall see the following attractions of Kota and Bundi during the day:

City Fort Palace : The beautiful palace overlooks Chambal River and has exquisite sculptures.

Jagmandir Palace : It is situated on a small island in Kishore Sagar Garden and was built in 1740.

Chambal Gardens : The gardens are situated on the banks of river Chambal and are a popular picnic spot.

Taragarh Fort : The serpentine Taragarh Fort was built in 13th century by Rao Bar Singh atop a 500 high hill. It is pride of Bundi for the locals.

Nawal Sagar : Reflections of Bundi city and its palaces could be seen in this artificial lake, making it a center of attention of the tourists.

Step Wells : There are several step wells in Bundi, also known as Baoris which were earlier used by the city residents to get drinking water.

Overnight stay will be in Bundi.

Day 10: Bundi-Bijaipur

We will visit the following attractions of Bijaipur during the day:

Athana : It is a village and you can enjoy horse safari in the forests that lie in its close vicinity.

Bijaipur Castle : The 16th century palace was built Rao Shakti Singh Ji. There is a wildlife sanctuary nearby where you can enjoy jeep safari, trekking and camel safari.

Day 11: Bijaipur-Udaipur

We shall depart for the Lake City of Udaipur on the eleventh day of our Rayal Rajasthan tours and visit its following attractions:

City Palace : It is located on the banks of Lake Pichola and was built by Maharana Udai Singh.

Lake Pichola : The artificial lake was built in 1362 AD and is named after Pichola village.

Fateh Sagar Lake : The 1.5 miles long and 1 mile wide Fateh Sagar Lake was built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh.

Your overnight stay will be at a resort in Udaipur

Day 12: Udaipur

We will see some more attractions of Udaipur this day including the following:

Jaisamand Lake : The lovely lake has a circumference of 30 miles and was built by Maharana Jai Singh in 1685. It is the second largest artificial lake of the world and is spread over an area of 36 sq km.

Shilpgram Museum : Literally meaning "Craftsmen's Village", the 70 acre tourist village has 26 huts wherefrom you can shop for curios and also taste traditional Rajasthani delicacies.

Ahar Museum : The museum has impressive collection of cenotaphs of various rulers of Mewar.

Day 13: Udaipur-Deogarh

We shall see the following attractions of Deograh on the thirteenth day of our Rayal Rajasthan tour.

Deogarh Fort : It was built in 1670 AD by Rawat Dwarkadasji . The fort has exotic mural paintings and carved pillars. It has 400 lavish rooms and the fort is now converted into a heritage hotel.

Gokal Vilas : The 200 year old palace is situated near Raghosagare Lake.

Anjaneshwar Mahadev : It is a 2000 year old cave temple.

Overnight stay will be at a heritage hotel in Deogarh.

Day 14: Deogarh-Jodhpur

We will leave for Jodhpur on the fourteenth day of our Royal Rajasthan tour and visit its following attractions:

Mehrangarh Fort : It was constructed in 1459 by Rao Jodha and there are seven gates that provide access to the fort.

Jaswant Thada : It is a 19th century cenotaph which was built to commemorate the memory of Maharana Jaswant Singh II who was the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur.

Mandore Garden : The beautiful gardens are spread over 82 acres of land and have beautiful bougainvillea flowers and Ashok trees.

Other attractions of Jodhpur are: Umaid Bhawan Palace, Government Museum, Phool Mahal, Jaswant Sagar Dam and Rai ka Bagh Palace.

Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 15: Jodhpur-Delhi

This will be the last day of your Royal Rajasthan tours. You will be moved to Delhi from where you can take onward journey to your home.
